Live Webcasts

  • Webcast: Getting Started with Trial KBOX - Join us for an interactive webcast with a KACE senior engineer. In this session we will help you learn how to deploy and make the most of your Trial KBOX experience. Bring your specific questions regarding set up or feature use for answers.

On Demand Webcasts

  • Installation, Inventory, Asset Management, Software Compliance and Reporting (66 min) - During this session, we install the Trial KBOX and deploy agents. We then look at the KBOX's inventory and group machines with labels and notifications. We then get you started with Asset Management for software compliance and look at some of the KBOX's reports. Finally, we set the KBOX up for patch downloads.
  • Software Distribution and Patching (47 min) - In this session, we set up distribution of Adobe Acrobat Reader and then patch that application and the underlying operating system. We also look at the Dell Update functionality for BIOS and driver updates. Finally, we set up the user portal so users can install Acrobat Reader on-demand.
  • Scripting and Security (41 min) - We run through some example KBOX configuration policies and write a simple script. Then we run an OVAL security audit scan and look at remediating the vulnerabilities with KBOX.

Please note that the Trial KBOX does not include full customer support due to its nature as a free trial product.

Your trial license is valid for the lesser of 30 days from installation or 45 days from initial download. After this period it will not be possible to gain access to the KBOX and the KBOX will become inoperable.

Download Trial KBOX

  • Download Trial KBOX v5.0 - after entering your registration information you will be sent a license key via email.
  • Upgrade to Trial KBOX v5.0 - if you have Trial KBOX v4.3 and want to upgrade to v5.0, you will be required to register again to download the new version and perform a fresh install with your new license key.

Once you have experienced the rapid time to value that you can achieve with the KBOX, contact KACE™ to purchase a full production license. Then start to plan what strategic IT improvements you can make with the time that the KBOX will return to you.

Uninstalling the KBOX Agent

In the event that you decide not to purchase a full production license, please follow the instructions on uninstalling the KBOX agent to remove the KBOX agent from your test machines.
