It's probably been one of the best purchases I’ve seen in the past twelve years at Burnet. It's been spectacular.

'connection response 401 associated key fingerprint not found'

When linking one KACE appliance to another, the user gets the following error when testing the connection:

"connection response 401 associated key fingerprint not found"

This can occur when one of two things happen.

The manged linked appliance page does not contain a reference for the other appliance. KACE linking is a two-way trust between appliances. Therefore, each KACE appliance must have the other appliance's certificate in order for them to communicate.

The certificate from the wrong appliance is in the manged linked appliances page. Therefore, no trust is made since the certificate each has does not match the other.

Also, take a look at this FAQ for more linking issues.
