Routinely, Kace support will receive a call regarding server performance issues; patching has stopped working, agents have stopped checking in, or scripting is not working. For a significant amount of these the issue will come down to a mix match of server version vs. agent versions.
There seems to be some confusion when updating the K1000 appliances that the K1000 Agent is updated as well. This mistake can be easy to make, given that the server tells you there is an update and people may presume the update also includes the Agent.
There are a few ways you can check to see what version of the K1000 Agent you have on computers in your inventory:
1. Settings->K1000 Agent->Updates From KACE
2. Inventory->Software-> Search for “kace”
