Attempting to Sync the K2000 appliance and a Remote Site Appliance (RSA) may fail and display this error message:

Error occurred syncing file list: exit code = 12
This error usually occurs when the K2000 and the RSA are not linked because the wrong systems are specified in the linking profile. You must specify either the correct IP addresses or fully qualified hostnames on the two systems to prevent this error.
Perform these steps on the K2000 appliance and the RSA to solve the problem:
1. Open Settings and Maintenance -> Control Panel -> KACE Linking -> use either IP Address or fully qualified hostname in the "K2000 Friendly Name (this server):" field
2. Open the Settings and Maintenance -> Control Panel -> Managed Linked Appliances -> open each linked profiled and make sure the "Host Name" field specified is either the correct IP Address or fully qualified hostname.
