Dell KACE Family of Virtual Systems Management Appliances

Saves you time and your company money versus traditional computer management software solutions

Our vision at Dell KACE is to provide an appliance-based approach to systems management, to save time for systems administration professionals, while saving money for their companies. Dell KACE Virtual Appliances (VK appliances) further extend the benefits of an appliance-based solution for those companies that have deployed a virtual environment. Optimized to leverage VMware infrastructure, VK appliance users are able to enjoy the advantages of a physical appliance with the added benefits of virtualization.

The Dell KACE K1000 Virtual Appliance is also available as a service for those organizations who want to have it hosted and delivered from the cloud. K1000 as a Service is hosted by Dell and provides all of the same features and functionality of an on premise appliance. The K1000 as a Service is currently available only in North America (U.S. and Canada).

The Appliance Advantage

KACE appliances make efficient computer and server management a reality by providing a low cost alternative to computer management software using an appliance-based architecture. Simply install the virtual appliance, give the VK Appliance an IP address and you are ready to begin managing all of your desktops, laptops and servers. Unlike traditional computer management software, VK Appliances typically deploy in one day. And because the VK Appliance is a virtual appliance, there are no dedicated hardware prerequisites, no professional service fees and no hidden costs. It's all in the appliance!

Virtual KACE Appliances – Easy-to-Use and Support

Built from the ground up to enable systems administrators of every level and background, KACE appliances are an easy-to-use systems management solution. From its simple plug and play architecture which virtually eliminates installation and maintenance, to its familiar web-like tabbed interface, VK Appliances are sure to transform your systems management generalist into a systems management guru, not in months or years, but days and weeks. VK Appliances also support Open Virtualization Format (OVF), for easy import on to virtual infrastructure. And VK Appliances can be instantly and completely backed up and recovered allowing fault-proof maintenance and ease of support.

Virtual KACE Appliances – Comprehensive and Scalable

KACE appliances pre-integrate and pre-configure the functionality needed to solve your end-to-end systems management challenges. From initial OS Deployment to software and hardware inventory and distribution, asset management, patch management, security, service desk and more, VK Appliances do it all. And VK Appliances can be rapidly provisioned, reconfigured and moved, allowing organizations to easily scale them to meet dynamic requirements.

Virtual KACE Appliances – Affordable
