Unable to logon to the Helpdesk or admin portal of the K1000 appliance using LDAP authentication

The users were able to logon to the K1000 appliance, but unable to do so now, what are the items to check for and to do.

To Check:
Find out what has changed from the LDAP Server side?
- Did the LDAP admin user that the K1000 appliance uses the password has changed?
- Did the user in LDAP moved from a different container?
- Did the IP address or HOSTNAME of the LDAP server changed?
- Is the LDAP Server down?

Find out what exactly changed in the LDAP server.  After finding out what has changed in the LDAP server, the change must be applied to the K1000 appliance.

To Do:
1. Logon to the K1000 appliance as the K1000's admin user
    - This is the only user that is able to logon to the K1000 appliance other than an LDAP authentication user is the K1000 admin user

2. Go to Settings -> User Authentication -> LDAP profiles
    - Modify the profiles for the changes in the LDAP server

Use the following FAQ for reference on setting up the LDAP server parameters:

http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/How-to-setup-LDAP-Authentication-Integration

If necessary, run the LDAP browser to connect to LDAP server to search for specific users to be sure it is working fine.

3. If the K1000 admin user is not able to logon to the K1000 appliance or if the admin user's password is lost, please contact Kace Support to help reset to factory default.
- Make sure that SSH is enabled and the database access is turned on the K1000 appliance
- Download mySQL browser from the following site: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html
