During imaging, Error (8) is shown. This generally occurs when imaging from the RSA. The resolution of this is to replace the 3.0 version of K-Image with the one from 3.1 however, this requires engineering involvement.
Starting the week of December 7th 2009, 3.1 released and will repair the issue as part of the upgrade. Here is the process:
- Upgrade your K2000 appliance to 3.1.26500 or higher. This can be done by going to the KACE website and downloading the patch file and installing it on your K2000 appliance manually. You can also wait for it to show up as an upgrade on your K2000 appliance if you are not having this error.
- From the Remote Sites tab under Deployments, update each RSA to the latest version.
- Re-sync your RSA with the K2000 appliance. This will replace the old version of K-Image with the new.
