Recently, engineering declared that the virtual KACE appliances woulld only be supported on VMware ESX. There are many reasons for this but the main one is that the virtual KACE appliances are intended for those that have the majority of their back end infrastructure virtual. We know there are some out there that are running on other flavors of VMware and with that comes issues.
One in particular is the time of the virtual KACE appliances not syncing with the host operating systems time. This occurs when you are using VMware server (the free version), workstation. or player. There is a work around for this but unfortunately, this is not something that you will be able to fix on your own. With this in mind, if you hare having issues with time syncing, you will need to contact support. Someone from engineering can repair the issue for you.
