How to schedule an LDAP import

This article assumes that LDAP authentication is already configured. If it is not, LDAP authentication setup can be found here: http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/How-to-setup-LDAP-Authentication-Integration

Please refer to the admin guide for further setup (p.199): http://www.kace.com/support/documentation/K1000_AdminGuide.pdf

This article also assumes version 5.1 of the K1000 appliance.

In order to set up a scheduled LDAP import, navigate to:

Settings>User Authentication>Edit Mode>

Find the LDAP server and click the red clock on the right hand side.

On the "User Import : Schedule" page: add the parameters that you want to include (phone, location, etc) to the "Attributes to retrieve" filter.

Under "Scheduling", set the LDAP import to the interval required. This should keep LDAP data as current as the interval that is set.
