Why is a specific patch not deploying? The K1000 appliance ran a “detection” on the patches, but it never deployed the patch out for the client machine which is on Windows XP SP3. Under deployment status of the computer inventory of the K1000 appliance, It showed a “?” next to the patch, why is this happening?
Here is a list of items to check:
1) Verify that the client machine is approved on the actual patch and also on the “detect and deploy” patching schedule.
2) Verify the patch subscription has Windows XP SP3 as an OS patch that is subscribed.
If the above two criteria are not met, the patch will not deploy.
