KACE Names Industry Veteran Daniel Power Managing Director of EMEA
Former LANDesk Executive Brings Extensive Experience to KACE
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – January 22, 2008 – KACE™, the leading systems management appliance company, today announced the appointment of Daniel Power as the company’s managing director for the EMEA region. Power brings more than 20 years of global technology experience to the company and will initially focus on recruiting and building out a broad VAR channel to support KACE customers in the region.

Power joins KACE from LANDesk, where he served as director of strategic alliances in EMEA. In that role, he oversaw the extension of relationships with major hardware manufacturers such as Dell and Lenovo. Power was influential in building LANDesk’s revenues through these relationships. Prior to his role in strategic alliances, he served as the Northern Europe sales manager. He joined LANDesk from PowerQuest, Ltd. (subsequently purchased by Symantec) where he was responsible for recruiting reseller partners as the enterprise partner manager and UK country manager.
