New Utility Rebate Certification Another Proof Point Demonstrating KACE’s Ability to Help Organizations Save Money and Go Green

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – October 21, 2008 – Already known for saving customers precious time and money, KACE also helps customers save energy via industry-leading power management and reporting capabilities for its award-winning KBOX™ family of appliances. Today, KACE announced new power savings capabilities that enable organizations to save significant resources by dialing down energy consumption through unique power management policy templates, power saving enforcement and monitoring, and best practice guidance to turning off computers outside of business hours. The PG&E rebate certification comes on the heels of KACE certification from BC Hydro, one of Canada’s largest and oldest electrical utilities. The utility added the KBOX appliances to its Power Smart Program listing of approved products and also offers incentives for the purchase of any KBOX appliance through its Product Incentive Program to both businesses and schools in the British Columbia area.
